Teaching Philosophy

Teaching Philosophy
Teaching is an act of design. Every course, every prompt, every rubric is a deliberate choice to move a student from where they are toward where the world needs them to be.
Core Beliefs
- Students learn by doing work that matters.
- Authenticity is the currency of meaningful learning.
- Assessment should mirror the discipline.
- Creativity is teachable, assessable, and structural.
- Reflection closes the loop between experience and expertise.
The measure of good teaching is not what students remember, but what they can do when no one is watching.
